This year, the Verve Rally community embraced this festive spirit by organising a Christmas lunch in the enchanting flower room of the iconic Annabel’s in Mayfair.
Hosted by the founders of Verve Rally, Marcus and Darshana Ubl, the afternoon was a spectacular showcase of elegance and celebration.

The event saw a mix of Verve Rally alumni, new rally participants, and guests, each bringing their unique stories and experiences to the table.

The lunch was graced by the presence of actress and singer Wendy Carr, known for her appearances on BBC1’s “This Week Christmas Special” and her nomination for a Classical Brit award.
Her impressive vocal range and enchanting performance added a magical touch to the afternoon, leaving the room spellbound and thoroughly entertained.
Annabel’s Mayfair: A Venue of Opulent Maximalism
The choice of venue, the new Annabel’s private members club, reflects the luxurious and adventurous spirit of Verve Rally. Reopened in 2018, the club underwent a lavish renovation by designer Martin Brudnizki. It embodies a unique style described as “PMT-FM: post-modern, transitional, fusion, maximalism” by Nicolas Coleridge of World of Interiors.
The venue is a celebration of opulence, with an extravagant mix of colours, finishes, fabrics, and metals, all adorned with dramatic decorative arts-style flourishes.
It provided a fitting backdrop for an event centred around luxury and adventure.

With Verve Rally entering its eighth year, the anticipation for the upcoming supercar adventures is palpable. With routes planned to Italy and Croatia, the 120 participants expected to join next year’s rallies are in for thrilling experiences.
