There are evenings that feel less like an event and more like a beautifully timed pause – a moment to gather, raise a glass, reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones into the Verve Rally world.
Our recent Verve Rally Soirée at Hackstons Knightsbridge was exactly that.
Set in the heart of Knightsbridge, members and guests joined us for an intimate evening of conversation, wine, light bites and understated celebration. Hackstons, purveyors of fine wine and whisky, provided the perfect setting – refined, welcoming and quietly indulgent – while Nyetimber brought its signature British elegance to the occasion.
Nyetimber brought its signature elegance to the occasion, with Blanc de Blancs served throughout the evening – bright, poised and beautifully suited to a summer night in London. The house enjoyed a remarkable moment on the world stage when its Blanc de Blancs was awarded Champion Sparkling Wine at the International Wine Challenge 2025, the first time the accolade has gone to a wine outside Champagne.
Guests also had the pleasure of savouring a few bottles of Nyetimber’s flagship 1086 Rosé. Created in the realm of the world’s great prestige cuvées, 1086 sits comfortably in conversation with names such as Dom Pérignon, Krug and Cristal – not as an imitation, but as a confident English expression of craftsmanship, place and patience. In blind tastings, 1086 by Nyetimber has been recognised alongside leading Champagne prestige cuvées, with the 2010 vintage previously outscoring Dom Pérignon 2013 and Krug Grande Cuvée 172ème Édition at London Wine Fair’s “Battle of the Bubbles”..
The room carried that unmistakable Verve Rally energy – relaxed yet spirited, sophisticated yet full of warmth. Conversations moved easily from travel and supercars to future rallies, favourite roads, shared memories and the adventures still to come. It was a reminder that Verve Rally has always been about more than the drive. The cars may bring us together, but the people are what make it lasting.
Adding to the evening’s sense of fun, guests were invited to take part in a lucky draw, with prizes from Dior, Mayfairsilk and Nyetimber. The evening also included a grand prize for the guest with the highest Hackstons spend, featuring a Christian Dior candle set, Mayfairsilk pillowcase, Scuderia Ferrari Charles Leclerc Monaco GP limited edition cap and a bottle of 1086 by Nyetimber 2013 Vintage Cuvée English Sparkling Rosé.
Set within Hackstons Knightsbridge, with Nyetimber served throughout and considered details from our gifting partners, the evening carried the easy polish and warmth that define a Verve gathering.
