In the week leading up to Earth Day, Verve Rally had an exclusive event at Tesla Motors showroom in Oxford Street along with partners Natwest Private and Coutts & Co.
Guests were invited to soak up the atmosphere at Tesla, learn more and be driven in the revolutionary electric cars.
Verve Rally is a luxury car rally and members of this car club attend several events organised by Verve Lifestyle.
It's also Europe’s first carbon neutral rally which offsets its carbon by planting trees (by partnering with PATT foundation).
"We count the miles into the engine size to calculate how many trees need to be planted". We support PATT foundation’s initiative and are encouraging them to meet their goal of planting one million trees.
Guests connected over drinks and canapes and the event continued on at the after-party hosted at Hyde in Kensington.
An exclusive event hosted at the Private Box in Club Wembley with our partner Asset House for some of the Ververs to connect pre-rally.
It was a great afternoon watching live football and soaking up the atmsophere in Wembley as England played Lithuania in the qualifier and going on to defeat the opposition 2-0. It was also nice to meet the British Football legend, Sir Geoff Hurst MBE, who dropped in to the box.
Sir Geoff Hurst MBE, a former England international footballer and striker, remains the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final as England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at the old Wembley in 1966.
Verve rally - international
Verve Rally goes international with it’s launch in India on 4th March 2017.

When it comes to innovation, Tesla Motors are champions - the world’s first fully electric and battery generated car that changed all our perceptions that 'electric' needn't mean a compromise on performance.
It has no sound and no engine, instead it has a silent electric motor on each axle (much more room for your golf clubs and gym bag, we learnt it will even accommodate your push bike in the boot).
Verve Rally was delighted to host an exclusive event for Verver’s at the new Tesla Showroom in Oxford Street last week over canapés and drinks.
Ververs got a chance to connect with some of the Tesla crew and meet Tesla owners with first-hand experience of taking it on the 7 country Verve Rally in August this year.
They also got a chance to be driven in the latest Tesla Model S 70D or P100D, experiencing some of the acceleration the car is capable of (0 to 60mph in 2.5s) with a quick burst down Park Lane.
The Tesla Model S is a great car for one of our 2017 car rallies. Both routes are Tesla friendly. Take a look here
